Acid Reflux Tell-Tale Signs
Acid reflux is made from persistent symptoms and/or mucosa damage that stem from the aberrant reflux of stomach contents, particularly the robust stomach acid. When the gastric contents are expelled into the esophagus, this creates discomfort, pain and potentially lasting tissue damage. Sometimes acid reflux is a physical problem, where the lower esophageal sphincter does not effectively contain the contents of the belly, and some cases where a hiatal hernia is a factor.
